Artwork decided too late
A printed colour box needs design, colour matching and a proof before it can go on a press. Every week of indecision here is a week the goods cannot ship. Decide the box in the same conversation as the model.
02 · DOCUMENT ROUTE
Certificate checked after the deposit
CE does not clear the United States and CB converts rather than clears. Check the market-to-document mapping before you commit a price band, not after the production slot is booked.
03 · CARTON ARITHMETIC
Unit price chased, freight ignored
A two-dollar unit-price saving against a carton that costs eight dollars per unit in freight is a loss dressed as a win. Carton geometry is the largest single lever you control.
